Before making adjustments to your image you should try and attempt to restore any sharpness that may have been lost during the image capture.
In this step we'll be sharpening our images and will enhance specific areas of each image by use of sharpening.
For example the use of sharpening. For example on a portrait image we might want to enhance the eyes, eye lashes, and eye brows of our subject and stay away from areas such as the skin. Likewise on a Landscape image we might want to enhance the overall image by applying more of a global sharpening adjustment.
At this stage we have completed all of the corrections and adjustments to our image and are ready to consider where we want to our image and output this image.
If it looks good on the screen and we are planning on using the image on a web page without resizing the image then we are most likely ready to go and no additional sharpening is required.
If however we are planning on printing our image to another medium then additional sharpening is most likely required.
